5+ years' experience; direct marketing experience a plus
Exceptional portfolio displaying communication design, brand identity, typography, color theory, and web interaction principles including usability and information architecture
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly PhotoShop, Illustrator & InDesign
Proficient understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, Drupal CMS and PHP a plus
Advanced verbal and written communication skills .
Experience in fast-paced agency environment is desirable. Higher Ed experience would be particularly helpful but not mandatory
Experience with consumer and B2B work
Solid problem solving abilities; detail-oriented and resourceful
Organized and dependable; able to multitask, work quickly and meet multiple deadlines.

Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, is looking for a talented designer to join our growing in-house Communications and Marketing division. As part of our team, you will handle the conception, design and execution of visual materials for integrated marketing cross-channel initiatives. Translating business objectives into technical and creative solutions, you'll design, produce and collaborate on a wide range of print collateral, web design, and advertising projects driving enrollment and brand awareness. This is a hands-on creative development position in a fast-paced environment focused on quality.
